    Monaco’s Christmas Village Market

The most popular highlight of Christmas in Monaco and Monte Carlo is its Christmas village and market. But if you’re expecting something more luxurious than other cities, you’ll be disappointed. It’s basically the same setup with the same stuff for sale as most cities in Europe.

The one thing that sets it apart is that each year it has a different theme, with large characters that fit with the year’s theme. The theme for the 2021 Christmas market is ‘Canada’. There are giant colorful sculptures displaying landmarks from each Canadian province, as well as a large white toboggan slide.

Held each year on the Esplanade Du Port Hercule , this Christmas market has replica mini-chalets selling the usual type of products and culinary specialties for the season. The classic wooden chalets will line the famous Monaco and Monte Carlo Christmas Market in Port Hercule, where you can find gift ideas and culinary specialties for the season.
